Wetting the bed is not something that should be frowned upon, nor should you yell, holler, or punish your child for wetting the bed.
It is something that they have limited control over.
Instead you should be looking for some bed wetting cures to assist them in dealing with this little problem.

Talk to your child let him/her know that you are their with them and that they are not alone.
I want to share with you some of the things that I used with my son to help him deal with wetting the bed.
The bed wetting cures that I am about to share with you finally brought us a solution to the bed wetting problem.
NO DRINKING LIQUIDS RIGHT BEFORE BED This is something obvious that all parents should know and follow, but let me tell you that most parents rarely follow this rule. Then when the child wets the bed they are left wondering why. Just stick by this rule until your child is comfortable with not wetting the bed.

Make their last drink come at dinner time. USE POTTY RIGHT BEFORE GETTING INTO BED This is another obvious rule that all parents should be following, but don't.
If your child uses the restroom right before getting into bed. Then the chances are that they will have to go again are slim to none until the next morning. THE LIFTING TECHNIQUE This was recommended to me by a family member who's child is the same age as mine.

You follow all of the bed wetting cures outline above. After your child has been asleep for about three hours you wake them up and bring them to the bathroom.

After doing this for a while and you notice your child is already wet by the time you wake him/her up.

Wake them up after two hours and adjust accordingly. Sticking to these rules and guideline are the keys to success of you and your little one getting over the bed wetting problem.

They are obvious solutions, but they really work.
I can not stress enough that you do not want to yell or punish your child for wetting the bed.
What is important is that you let your child know they are not alone in this and that your are searching for the best bed wetting cures to help them along.
