Benefits of Online Training

Online training is currently one of the most popular methods of providing education and training people across the world.
It mainly involves communication between an instructor and the student via the medium of internet. The major driving force for the use of online training methodologies is the geographical distance between the student and the instructor. With easy access to internet, it is now possible for a student to be instructed by an instructor who could be located at another part of the world.
The driving force for the spread of online training is that it allows for an interaction between people in various geographical locations in a seamless manner.
This also helps in providing real time educational facilities with the least amount of monetary expenditure.

Even to this day, there are some who prefer face-to-face training to online training.

Such people are to a large extent deprived of the services of a quality instructor who located in a different part of the world, for instance. As a result, people who prefer face-to-face training are largely isolated.
One of the benefits of conducting online training is the availability of software that provides instructors with a handy tool to analyze the progress of their students.

Online tests can be conducted and the results can be processed and analyzed within a very short duration of time, enabling the instructor to dedicate a large amount of time towards improving the conceptual understanding of the student. Various tools such as eLeap, Moodle etc that are classified as Learning Management Systems can be used to provide online training.

They create a near classroom type of an atmosphere by allowing instructors to create online presentations, tutorial videos and even assign fixed duration tests to provide a better understanding of the concept being instructed upon.
Many tools even provide a notification service wherein an email is sent automatically by the system to all the registered users informing them about the scheduled training sessions.
